The 14th Annual Swing for Autism Golf Tournament and Celebration will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 at the Coto de Caza Golf and Racquet Club. Proceeds from the event will benefit two nonprofit organizations: New Vista School and Spirit League.
Since the inaugural Swing for Autism Golf Tournament in 2009, over $1.1 million has been raised at the Event to benefit youth with autism.
About New Vista
New Vista School is a 501(c)(3), WASC accredited independent school serving the needs of Orange County students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in grades 6-12 and beyond. Their mission is to provide a structured, safe environment of academic, social, and transition skills instruction for students within the autism community.
The school community is guided by the following values: Respect, Responsibility, Initiative, Problem Solving, and Resiliency.
Through these values, New Vista demonstrates care, support, and high expectations for their students. In southern California, New Vista School is the only school of its kind designed specifically for students with high functioning autism.
About Spirit League
The mission of Spirit League is to create a community where athletes with developmental disabilities thrive. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Spirit League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that gives children and adults with autism an opportunity to participate in team sports that are tailored to meet their specific needs. In 2024, the Spirit League family included 600 athletes with disabilities participating in baseball, basketball, soccer, bowling, flag football, and volleyball.
Spirit League emphasizes learning basic sports skills and physical fitness for developmentally challenged athletes in southern Orange County, California, ages 6-32 years.
